Announcement to BRB accounts' Owners

The Bank of the Republic of Burundi (BRB) invites all the Owners of accounts in the Central Bank to proceed to the updates of the information on their accounts holders, managers and the agents authorized to deposit and withdraw mails related to their accounts .

Forms to be completed have been availed and can be obtained from the BRB Headquarter and its Branches of Gitega, Ngozi and Rumonge or downloaded on this link .

Once duly filled, the forms shall be physically deposited to the BRB Headquarter or Branches, by 30 September 2021, the latest.

From the 1st of October 2021, accounts’ statements will be produced only on request of the accounts’ manager and any courier that will not be collected within two months will be immediately destroyed.
